Vicky Raymond Registered Veterinary Nurse
Vicky Raymond Registered Veterinary Nurse

Vicky is our head nurse, she joined us in December 2000 and qualified as a veterinary nurse in 2004, after having passed NVQ level 2 and 3 in Veterinary Nursing. Vicky also has a national diploma in Animal Management, and a level 2 in Evolution of Animal Behaviour. Vicky is a Petplan insurance advisor, a Hill's pet nutritionist and a pet arthritis councillor. Vicky has a certificate in veterinary dentistry and can give you expert tips about looking after your pet's teeth. She has many other roles at the practice, she is qualified in human first aid and is also a clinical coach helping to train student veterinary nurses. Vicky and her team of veterinary nurses run our nurse clinics and our very popular Puppy Parties. Vicky has a hand reared cat called Ralph, a Staffordshire Bull Terrier called Nell and a French Bulldog Beattie.

Nicola joined us in February 2016 having moved to Solihull from South Wales. Apart from working full time, she still finds time to run Marathons, take part in running obstacle events and walk her chocolate Labrador 'Zak'. She is passionate about the care of hospitalised animals so you can be sure your pets will get an extra cuddle if they have to stay in with us.

Nikki Joined us in 2000 and is a qualified veterinary nurse, having passed NVQ Level 2 and 3 in veterinary nursing. Nikki is a Petplan insurance advisor and a Hill's pet nutritionist. Nikki works part time so she has more time with her children Jack and Keira. Nikki has a little Terrier cross 'Alf', a Jug (Jack Russell Terrier x Pug) and a cat called Minnie as well as 3 guinea pigs and 2 chickens.

Gemma joined us in September 2004 as a student veterinary nurse and qualified as a veterinary nurse after passing NVQ level 2 and 3 in Veterinary Nursing at Warwickshire College. She has a national diploma in Animal Management. Gemma is also a Petplan insurance advisor and a Hill's pet nutritionist. Gemma has a keen interest in veterinary medicines and parasite control and helps run our nurse clinics. Gemma has two cats called Dartagnan and Leo and a miniature Pinscher called Lennox. Gemma now works part time so she has more time with her two sons Zach and Jaxon. She says she comes to work for a rest!

Beth joined the practice as a voluntary helper on Saturday mornings and we were pleased to be able to take her on as a student veterinary nurse in September 2014 We were delighted when Beth passed her level 3 Diploma in Veterinary Nursing to become a qualified Veterinary Nurse. She enjoys spending her spare time with her miniature Schnauzer cross Bichon Frise 'Lola' and also loves going to live music concerts.

Zoie joined us in May 2017 having just completed a degree in Veterinary Nursing from Hartpury College. She is interested in animal behaviour and is planning to study more in this area. She hopes to be able to help your pets by running behaviour clinics in the future. She enjoys running the popular puppy parties. She is also a Petplan Insurance Advisor. In her spare time, she enjoys going to the gym and walking her whippet Misty.
